The Degree in Modern Languages (ESPAÑOL) is an innovative alternative to traditional Spanish language university teaching in Spain. The innovation consists in one single degree which unites three modern languages with different proficiency levels: Language A or major language (Spanish as a foreign language for non-native speakers) where the student acquires a near-native proficiency level; Language B or minor language (English, German or French), with an advanced level; and Language C (German, French or Chinese), with a working level.



The study plan for the Modern Language Degree is multidisciplinary and flexible. It allows for a choice between an ample range of elective subjects in Art and Culture; International Business & Management; Literature and Languages. This type of training opens the doors to a suite of professional options ranging from teaching to publishing, business and international relations, tourism and linguistic and cultural management and mediation.
