Spanish Courses. General Information.

Our Spanish courses are intended for those persons who would like to learn or improve their Spanish from the beginning level to the most advanced level. The only requirements for participating in our courses are that you must be at least 18, and want to learn Spanish.

Our students come from very different countries and their interest in Spanish is quite diverse. The majority of students want to learn Spanish as part of their formal education, some study Spanish just because they want to and others so that they can obtain the Official Spanish Diploma (DELE). But all want to be able to communicate in Spanish with native Spanish speakers from one side of the Atlantic or the other.

During the whole year, except the month of August, we offer several programs and in each program we give courses in Spanish language and culture in six different levels depending on the Spanish proficiency of our students. The programs of June and July also offer other specialized courses.

Our courses combine teaching both language and culture because we are convinced that it is not possible to really learn a language without understanding the way of thinking, behaving, and living of the people.

Our excellent team of teachers, all qualified and experienced, together with the limited number of students per class, provide an interactive, communicative, and personalized learning environment.

Each program includes six cultural activities (visits to museums and other sites of interest). The programs also offer extra-curricular activities (excursions, movies, theater, flamenco, concerts, football, tapas, paella, etc) that are not included in the program fees.

Our Center for Hispanic Studies offers an international environment within a Spanish university. It's Spanish courses are taught on the Dehesa de la Villa Campus of Nebrija University which is located in the university area of Madrid. International as well as Spanish students have free access to e-mail, computer rooms, libraries, cafeterias, etc., and can request lodging and other services.
