By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Understand the main idea of the speech in radio or television programs that deal with current issues or matters of personal or professional interest.
• Understand texts written in a commonly used or work-related language. Understand the description of events, feeling and wishes in personal letters.
• Spontaneously participate in a conversation that addresses everyday life issues (family, hobbies, work, travel and current events).
• Link sentences in a simple way in order to describe experiences and projects. Briefly explain and justify your opinions and projects. Tell a story, a book or a movie plot. Describe your feelings and reactions.
• Write simple texts on topics of personal interest and personal letters that describe experiences and impressions.
